FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check or credit cards.

How long does an inspection take?

An average-sized home normally takes 2 to 3 hours to inspect, depending on its age and any questions you may have at the time of the inspection.

Do I have to have an inspection to buy a home?

It’s not required in Wisconsin, but it is highly recommended. The purchase of a home can be the single largest investment during your lifetime.

Having a trained and certified professional provide you a comprehensive evaluation of the house will give you a clearer understanding of the property you are about to purchase.

When should I schedule my inspection?

You can schedule your inspection after your offer has been accepted. Contact us between 7 AM and 9 PM any day of the week to schedule an inspection.

What should I expect during the home inspection process?

All of our clients are treated with courtesy and respect. We encourage you to be present during the inspection so you can learn how the home’s systems work. Any areas of concern will be reviewed with you during inspection. We provide lifetime support for clients who have questions in the future.

What is included in a typical home inspection?

We’ll use a thermal imager, moisture meter, and gas detector when necessary. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a comprehensive report, as well as a home maintenance book and moving checklist.

Do you offer radon testing?

Yes, we use a continuous radon monitor during testing. Radon testing requires a minimum of 48 hours of continuous monitoring. The EPA recommends radon levels below 4 pCi/L.
